ADISA President-Elect John Grady and Catherine Bowman, co-chairs of the Legislative & Regulatory Committee, discussed the legislative and regulatory agenda in Washington D.C. with FINRA’s Gabriela Aguero and Joseph Sheirer. David Bodamer (WealthManagement.com) considered the possible future of our industry with Larry Roth (RLR Strategic Partners) and Kevin Keefe (Realta Wealth).

A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – ADISA & TNDDA UNITE
ADISA and The National Due Diligence Alliance (TNDDA), a non-profit trade association of independent broker-dealers, advisors and family offices and a leading facilitator of the due diligence process for the alts industry, will unite under the ADISA name. As announced at our conference kick-off session, ADISA and TNDDA will officially join together after TNDDA’s upcoming conference, November 22 – 24. The 2025 season will feature “TNDDA by ADISA.” More upcoming event information coming soon!

ADISA was pleased to honor the winners of our 2024 awards, including the President’s Award, the Distinguished Service Award, and – our highest honor – the A Champion of Excellence (ACE) Award on opening night.
Angela Barbera, director, national accounts at NexPoint Securities, was presented with the 2024 ACE Award, ADISA’s most prestigious recognition.
FactRight, a company specializing in third-party due diligence reporting and risk management consulting for the alternative investment community, earned the President’s Award.
Joanna Venetch, founder and principal at Hana Solutions LLC, received the Distinguished Service Award.

ADISA is proud to continue its partnership with the Milken Institute’s HBCU Strategic Initiative and Fellows Program. This year, students from HBCUs across the country had the opportunity to interview industry thought leaders, and each interview was recorded for an upcoming podcast series with the goal of providing increased education for students seeking to learn more about alternative investments.
